Dr. Jeff Schoonover, Board Certified Phlebologist, is committed to varicose vein disease treatment.
Prior to starting Indiana Vein Specialists, Dr. Schoonover practiced vein disease treatment at one of the largest vein clinics in the nation and served as a regional medical director. Before then, he practiced family medicine in Yorktown, Indiana and is board certified in family practice. He also served as a physician for four years in the United States Air Force, where he achieved the rank of Major.
Dr. Schoonover was published in The Journal of Family Practice in October 2009 with his article, “3 Alternatives to Standard Varicose Vein Treatment.”
He resides in Hamilton County with his wife and their two young boys. They are an active family and enjoy participating in triathlons as a relay team together. You may often find them on the lacrosse fields, at the pool or biking on the Monon together. Continue reading →
Nathan Watson is a vascular sonographer and RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) who has joined the Indiana Vein Specialists team to perform ultrasound exams to diagnose venous insufficiency, and to guide sclerotherapy and endovenous laser ablations. He graduated from the CAAHEP accredited sonography program at JCTC in Louisville, Ky. From 2002 until 2006 Nathan was enlisted as a Cavalry Scout in the U.S. Army with tours in Kosovo and Iraq. Natalie Gilman joined the Indiana Vein Specialists team as practice administrator. She has a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Purdue University and 8 years’ experience in Management and Marketing. Maggie Haley, R.N., comes to Indiana Vein Specialists with over 20 years of experience in nursing. Her background is diverse, having worked in intensive Care, pain management, ambulatory surgery, and nursing management. As our nurse sclerotherapist, Maggie has been trained in the treatment of surface/spider veins. Maggie lives in Fishers with her husband Allen and 2 pets. Diana Clauson joined the Indiana Vein Specialists team as scheduling coordinator. She has a business degree from Sacramento State University and 16 plus years’ experience in Sales and Marketing. Diana lives in Noblesville with her husband Tim, son Bryan, and daughter Taylor. Diana enjoys exercising, soccer, watching her children’s sporting events, and spending time with her pets.
