“I am so thankful to be a part of a working environment that is family focused and supports their staff to have a balanced life. It has helped me to become a better provider and partner with each of my patients to foster the best outcomes.”
Sara earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2005 from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. She began her Physical Therapy career at a private outpatient clinic in Denver, CO where she enjoyed working one on one with patients, utilizing a mix of manual skills, targeted exercise programs, and education to empower them to be successful in their physical therapy journey. In 2008, she earned her certification in Polestar Pilates and refocused some of her therapy philosophy to Pilates-based rehabilitation.
Sara began working primarily in the lymphedema space in 2019. She recognized an underserved population and found great reward in helping lymphedema patients manage their symptoms. Sara enjoys partnering with each patient to educate and assist them in making lifestyle changes that positively impact their lymphedema symptoms and benefit their overall health.
In her spare time, Sara enjoys being with her family where they enjoy outdoor activities in all seasons, including skiing, sledding, hiking, boating, golf, and attending the many activities her kids participate in. She has enjoyed traveling all over the world and looks forward to resuming that again in the future. She is active in her church and school communities.
