Jeffery P. Schoonover

Dr. Jeff Schoonover, Board Certified Phlebologist, is committed to varicose vein disease treatment.

Prior to starting Indiana Vein Specialists, Dr. Schoonover practiced vein disease treatment at one of the largest vein clinics in the nation and served as a regional medical director. Before then, he practiced family medicine in Yorktown, Indiana and is board certified in family practice. He also served as a physician for four years in the United States Air Force, where he achieved the rank of Major.

Dr. Schoonover was published in The Journal of Family Practice in October 2009 with his article, “3 Alternatives to Standard Varicose Vein Treatment.”

He resides in Hamilton County with his wife and their two young boys. They are an active family and enjoy participating in triathlons as a relay team together. You may often find them on the lacrosse fields, at the pool or biking on the Monon together.
